January NO Mercy Athlete of the Month

By January 5, 2018Athlete Of The Month, News

The temperature is down but the intensity is up on the wod floor at No Mercy CrossFit. This month one of our newest trainers Sandy Curtis had the pleasure to nominate an athlete that she thought has worked hard, was easily coachable, and exemplified what it means to be the Athlete of the Month. She has made her choice and I couldn’t agree more…….

Our newest winner is Grace Brandt. Grace has been around off and on for quite some time, but has never stayed consistent until the last few months, and she gets to train alongside her father Tommy. Grace is only a junior at Lehman High School  but is a cross fit veteran already.  Sandy says she chose Grace because “she works extremely hard, and listens to cues. She is always open to corrections, and always does accessory work on her own after class.”

It is easy to forget Grace is still so  young with her quiet mature demeanor, but deep down there is a competitive desire burning. Grace told me she wanted to compete in CrossFit a short time ago and has made a real commitment to doing extra work that I program for her and the strength gains are showing. She even journals her workouts and weights used. A talented athlete in the gym and also at the various sports she plays at Lehman. We are proud to have Grace training with us at No Mercy and look forward to seeing what the future brings her. She is one of the good ones that make our job easy.

Job well done Grace Brandt!!!!!! See Franchise, Holly, or Chelsea to receive your reward.
